Hello! I’m Jade, an Indigiqueer (Tohono O’odham) multimedia artist and designer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I create nice things for your eyes under the name Spectral Moss.
I specialize in finely detailed illustrations and printmaking, with a penchant for stepping outside of my comfort zone to explore new skills and mediums. My current experimentations include sewing, making mossy resin casts in old books, and making tiny sculptures out of clay. I enjoy a dreamy, slightly surreal approach to my work, with an occasional sprinkle of the macabre. I draw inspiration from my surroundings on the daily, applying careful details and flowing organic shapes to incorporate a handmade touch.
